Privacy policy

3DParts.US. Effective October 2026.

This page says what we collect, why we collect it, and who else receives it. To ask for a copy or to ask us to delete it, email [email protected].

What we collect

Part requests include the title, material, quantity, budget, category, an optional file link, the description (including RV make, model, year, and part type when you provide them), your email, and an optional listing id.

The contact form includes your name, email, topic, and message. The newsletter form includes your email.

When you order a part, we collect the order details and the name and shipping address needed to send it.

The server log stores the time, IP address, page, and browser of a visit so we can operate the site. A theme choice stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

Why

We use this information to reply, to show a part request without your email, to pass an order to the maker who is fulfilling it, to ship an order, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to run the site.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. You enter the card on Stripe.

Who else receives it

We share personal information only with Stripe, our email provider, shipping carriers, and the maker fulfilling an order. Stripe handles the payment. Our email provider sends the messages you asked for. A shipping carrier gets the name and address needed to deliver an order. Order and shipping details may be shared with the maker fulfilling the order, so that maker can make and send the part. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep order, shipping, and transaction records for 7 years for tax purposes. We keep other information while we need it to answer you, fulfill an order, and keep ordinary business records. A newsletter confirmation link that is not used expires. Email [email protected] and we will delete what we can, or send you a copy, unless we still need it for an open order or we are required to keep it.

Security

The public site is served over HTTPS. Card numbers are entered on Stripe, not on our server.
